Commissioned by Liverpool Victoria Asset Management, 1 Bishopsgate is the Cat A office refurbishment completed in the UK to achieve a Gold Ska Rating, under the RICS’ Environmental Assessment Method. This project has achieved and included 82.5% of environmental good practice applicable within its design and delivery, achieving a savings in excess of 30% on CO² and Energy in a Grade II Listed building.<\/p>\n

The Project has clearly demonstrated that pursuit of environmental excellence need not compromise building quality or performance.<\/p>\n

Members will be given a short presentation from the client, design and delivery teams covering;<\/p>\n

•  the reasons why the Liverpool Victoria chose to pursue Ska Rating over BREEAM or LEED
•  how Ska Rating informed the design and delivery processes
•  lessons learnt and how these can be applied in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
